Server log files

Each time our website is accessed, usage data is transmitted by your web browser and stored in log files (server log files). This stored data includes, for example, the URL of the page accessed, the date and time of access, the so-called user agent string of your browser and the amount of data transferred per request. Your IP address is also recorded for each request, but only in anonymised (shortened) form. This data is used exclusively to ensure the trouble-free operation of our website and to improve our services. It is not possible to attribute this data to a specific person.

Online presences on social media

We maintain online presences within social networks and platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram). When you visit these pages, the terms and conditions and data processing policies of the respective operators apply.

Unless otherwise stated in our privacy policy, we process the data of users who communicate with us within social networks and platforms, e.g. by writing posts on our online presences or sending us messages.

Data protection for job applications

We collect and process the personal data of applicants for the purpose of handling the application process. Processing may also take place electronically. This is particularly the case if an applicant submits application documents to us electronically, for example by e-mail. If we conclude an employment contract with an applicant, the data transmitted will be stored for the purpose of handling the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. If we do not conclude an employment contract with the applicant, the application documents will be deleted automatically two months after notification of the rejection decision, provided that no other legitimate interests on our part prevent deletion. Such a legitimate interest is, for example, a duty to provide evidence in proceedings under the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

With whom we share your data

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR,
disclosure in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in your data not being disclosed,
there is a legal obligation for disclosure in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, and
this is legally permissible and necessary in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for the performance of contractual relationships with you.

You can withdraw your consent to the use of your data at any time without giving reasons.

Cooperation with processors and third parties

If, in the course of our processing, we disclose data to other persons and companies (processors or third parties), transmit it to them or otherwise grant them access to the data, this is only done on the basis of a legal permission (e.g. if a transfer of data to third parties, such as payment service providers, is necessary for the performance of a contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR), if you have consented, if a legal obligation provides for this or on the basis of our legitimate interests (e.g. when using agents, web hosts, etc.).

If we commission third parties to process data on the basis of a so-called "data processing agreement", this is done on the basis of Art. 28 GDPR.

External links

Our pages may contain links to third-party websites. No data is passed on to the respective provider as a result. Only when you click on the link will you be taken to the recipient's site. No data exchange takes place before such a link is clicked. We have no influence whatsoever on the content and design of other providers' websites. The guarantees of this privacy policy therefore do not apply to content from external providers.
